Pune branch takes pride to inform all members of the recent honour bestowed and felicitated one of our Past Chairman; Mr. Benny Boodle by Maharashtra Hockey for his contribution to Hockey as “Player”, “Administrator” and being an inspiration to the players.

Benny’s Hockey journey goes a long way and the passion he has for this sport to mention a few:

• Played for Maharashtra Junior Nationals
• Youngest player to play at the Maharashtra Senior Nationals
• Captain of the Maharashtra Hockey team
• Played for All India University Championship
• Selected by the prestigious Mohan Bagan club as their team member
• Played for West Bengal in National Hockey Championship
• Appointed by FIH as the judge at Sultan Azlan Cup, Malaysia
• Judge at National Hockey Championship at Hyderabad & Jammu
• Coach of Maharashtra State team
• Toured Sri Lanka with the Maharashtra State team

Benny now enjoys a peaceful retired life in the company of his wife, children & grandchildren.
